I am a textile artist whose "mediums" are the high-quality materials, such as wool, cotton, corduroy, tweed, flannel and velvet, from which I create hats.
I am a long-standing member of the Sheltowee Artisans Guild and have been making hats for over 30 years. Many of my creations are made from recovered materials--when this is the case, I will often incorporate an element of the garment from which the hat was made, such as a button, pocket or belt loop.
