The artist studied Fine Art in Europe and the United States.Antigone works mostly in Oils with the palette knife being her tool of choice, which allows the paint to speak it's own language.
Vibrant color is the major feature of this artist's statement with landscapes drawn from memories of places seen and of places still to be seen. The landscapes are without figures yet are not lonely spaces - they beckon the viewer to come, ponder and explore the complex yearnings of the human spirit.
