Born in Las Vegas, Theresa Kibby spent most of her school years in the Cincinnati area.  A musician all her life, she studied saxophone and voice at Indiana State University.  After college, Theresa helped her Mother set up and run a gallery of fine Kentucky craft in Somerset, Kentucky, where she met local artist/jeweler Jamison Brumm.  Having done beadwork in college, Theresa began working for Jamison doing part time piecework.  This job eventually turned into an official full-time apprenticeship as Theresa began learning the business side of the profession.  With Jamison's encouragement and blessing Theresa started her own line and celebrated the first full year of her career in Fall 2004.

Theresa's "Kritter" line is inspired by her lifelong love of animals.  As she sat down to create this line, she remembered the childhood experience of trying to recapture with her crayons her animal friends.  Young Theresa used geometric shapes for their bodies and friendly faces were always a must.  Today, Anodized aluminum is the perfect medium to reflect the bright colors of these childhood drawings.

Theresa lives and works in Somerset with her best friend Greg, Nina their Yellow-Collared Dwarf Macaw and Spooky their Queensland Blue Heeler.  She is also a choir director at First Presbyterian Church in London, Kentucky
